New York Academy Educational Services (NYA) was established in 2006 by a group of professional educators. NYA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on improving the quality of education in the state of New Jersey. College Path Mentorship Program
The program offers quality, well-rounded educational experiences by equipping mentees with not only academic but also social skills needed for college success. Strong academic support is offered to high school students by their college mentors who assist them weekly with essay writing, resume building, SAT/ACT test preparation, etc.
The program is free to low-income students.
STEAM Classes for K-8 Students
NYA’s STEAM Academies aims to heighten K-8 students’ interest and enhance their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Our goal is to achieve this mission by igniting curiosity in students and establishing a life-long love for STEAM through our expertly designed, creative & fun curriculum.
Our Initiatives
Committed to serving the society, New York Academy Educational Services has operating two initiatives – Nile Language School and STEAM Academies. Revenue that come from these two sources is used for New York Academy’s free-of-charge charitable projects.

Nile Language School
Our Nile Language School is the leader in providing English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction and preparing the students from the global community for the TOEFL iBT test and education in America as well as other English-speaking countries. For years our students have chosen NLS as their destination school to study English in the USA and experience the American culture. NLS is authorized to enroll international (F1) students under the federal law.

STEAM Academies
Our Steam Academies a franchisee of STEAM Works Studio, which is uniquely focused towards fostering and developing essential 21st Century and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) skills like Problem-Solving, Critical thinking, Creativity and Collaboration in a hands-on and practical but fun learning environment. We and STEAM Works Studio believe that “Making” can transform the way we all learn, from preschoolers through retirees.

College Application Bootcamp Summer 2022
Our first of the two College Application Bootcamps in 2022 was held on June 11-12, 2022 at Montclair State University. The Bootcamp aimed to prepare current juniors and some sophomores for college applications. 30 tenth and eleventh graders attended the two-day Bootcamp.
College Path Mentorship as a Method of Supporting Students
We meet every Saturday to discuss their transition out of high school, explore their college interests, and openly address their anxieties. I share with them my own struggles in applying to college and encourage them to keep a journal in order to learn more about themselves... After several weeks, my mentees vocalize feeling more prepared for their journey into college and that is all I could ask for.
