Summer Math Camp
Welcome to New York Academy’s (NYA) Summer Math Camp! The camp takes place every summer in various locations throughout New Jersey. Each camp includes 10 days of instruction spread out over 2 weeks.
Summer Math Camp is free to income-qualifying students, who will take Algebra-1 in the coming academic year.
Summer Math Camp makes a positive impact by filling a gap in the education system that leaves students from low-income communities behind, providing critical educational resources to students with the greatest needs.
NYA’s Summer Math Camp strengthens students’ mathematical foundations, helps them overcome summer learning loss, and ultimately maximizes their academic success at high school and beyond.
The program’s primary goal is to narrow achievement gaps and develop students’ intellectual capacity so that they get ahead for the next school year.
Students who attend schools in low-income areas and who will take Algebra-1 in the coming academic year are eligible to apply.

If I were again beginning my studies, I would follow the advice of Plato and start with mathematics.
